Home Preparation Services

Street appeal, cosmetic updates and repairs are all factors in attracting a higher sales price and getting sold quicker. In certain circumstances we may be able to offer a pre-listing repair and updating service to prepare your home for sale without the up-front costs. Preparing your home to be in optimal condition will help bring more buyers and potentially a much more attractive sales price, as opposed to selling it in it’s current condition.

We understand that some people simply do not have the funds available upfront for these updates (which is often the reason why people don’t sell), but they can cover those repair and updating costs from the proceeds of their home sale, if there is adequate equity in the home. Making repairs and updates reduces the risk in a buyers mind and instead it builds buying confidence including real and perceived value. Homes sell much quicker when you have an attractive move-in-ready home rather than a fixer-upper that attracts low-ball offers.
